How Mike Snell Entertainment Pty Ltd handles personal information across our website, our work with clients, and the M.S.E Green Room for our artists.

1. Who we are
Mike Snell Entertainment Pty Ltd (ACN 659 788 628, ABN 85 659 788 628), known as M.S.E, is an entertainment and event production house at 33–37 Blazey Street, Richmond VIC 3121. In this policy, “M.S.E”, “we” and “us” mean the company.
This policy covers the personal information we handle through our website and enquiry forms, our work with clients, venues and production partners, and the M.S.E Green Room, on the web and in the M.S.E Green Room app. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to plan and deliver events, and we collect it from you directly wherever we can.
Clients and people who enquire: name, company and role; email and phone; the event details you share with us; billing details for invoices.
Artists and crew: stage name and legal name; email, mobile and postal address; ABN and GST status; bank details for payment; superannuation details; tax file number, only where the law requires it; photos, videos and audio you give us; measurements and costume sizes; dietary requirements and allergies; availability, bookings and signed agreements.
Green Room app users: how you sign in (email and password, Google or Apple); a device token so we can send booking alerts; your upcoming booking details, stored on your phone so they open without signal.
Website visitors: standard technical details (browser, device, pages visited) collected by our website host through cookies.
We ask for allergy details only with your consent and use them only to cater for you at events. If you sign in with Apple and hide your email, we see only the private address Apple gives us. We handle tax file numbers under the Privacy (Tax File Number) Rule 2015.
We don’t sell personal information, and the Green Room app does not track you for advertising.
3. How we use it
We use personal information only for M.S.E’s work with you:
- answering enquiries, quoting, and planning and delivering events;
- offering artists and crew work, issuing Talent Booking Agreements and sharing the event details you need, such as call times, venue and run sheets;
- paying artists and crew, and meeting our tax and superannuation obligations;
- sending booking updates by text from the M.S.E number and as alerts in the Green Room app;
- protecting M.S.E’s work: protected pages in the Green Room app record when a screenshot is taken, and only the Director sees that record;
- keeping the records the law requires.
We won’t use it for anything unrelated without asking you first.
4. Who sees it
Our team: what their role needs. Bank, tax file number and super details are limited to the Director and our external accountants.
Other artists on the same booking: your stage name, headshot and email, on that booking only. Artists never see each other’s profiles otherwise.
Clients: artists’ stage names, photos and videos in proposals and profile pages. Never an artist’s surname, contact details, socials or fee.
Artists: the job name. Never a client’s name, email or phone number.
Venues and production partners: what an event needs, such as names for accreditation passes, tech riders and dietary requirements.
Service providers: cloud hosting and database, email and calendar, accounting and payroll, our external accountants, text messaging, video hosting, website hosting and AI-assisted productivity tools. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
Government agencies: what the law requires, such as reporting to the Australian Taxation Office.
Some of our service providers store information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We use established providers and take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it to the standard of the Australian Privacy Principles.
5. How we keep it safe
- Everyone signs in with their own account. Staff use their M.S.E accounts; each artist sees only their own Green Room.
- Access is set by role, and financial details are restricted further.
- Information is encrypted in transit and stored with our hosting provider’s encryption.
- Changes to bookings and records are logged with who made them and when.
- Booking details the app keeps on your phone are cleared when you sign out or delete your login.
6. How long we keep it
We keep Talent Booking Agreements, invoices, pay and superannuation records for seven years, or longer if Australian law requires. We also keep a record of past bookings as part of M.S.E’s business history. Other personal information is deleted or de-identified once we no longer need it.
7. Your choices
See or correct your information. Ask us at the address in section 8. Artists can update most of their own details in their Green Room.
Delete your Green Room login. In the Green Room app, open Settings, then Delete my Green Room login, or email us at the address in section 8 and we’ll do it for you. We delete your login, profile details, the photos and videos you uploaded, and the app data on your phone. We keep agreements, invoices, pay and super records and a record of past bookings, as section 6 explains. Deleting your login doesn’t cancel a confirmed booking or your Talent Booking Agreement.
Booking alerts. Turn them off at any time in your phone’s settings.
Marketing. We don’t send marketing through the Green Room. Every marketing email from M.S.E has an unsubscribe link.
8. Data breaches, questions and complaints
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and, where the law requires, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page shows the current version.
